My first kiss
"I must have been about 12, and it was in a field outside a campsite in Bournemouth. He was from Greece, on holiday with his family. He was handsome and so charming, but when I kissed him it didn't feel right".


My first celebrity crush
"It was Batman, and I remember when he got covered in cement, I was in a terrible state. My Mum was like:'What's the matter with you, you're all pale'. I don't know what it was that I liked about him, but I thought he was really sexy. When I was little I played Batman and Robin with the little boy who lived down the road who had a Go-Kart. I was Robin, and I fancied him too".

My first job
"I think I was about 11 and it was in a production called Iron Albert in the West End. I went straight into showbiz. John Schlesinger directed the musical and I played Queen Victoria's oldest child, Victoria. It flopped after three months, but I had a good time. It was incredibly excited".

My first record
"I think it was Emerson, Lake & Palmer, and the same day I bought a Sparks single. I really, really wanted them-I was nuts about Sparks because I like Electronica".


My first love
"I was 18 and went out with this guy for about 2 weeks. I met him in a pub as soon as I saw him accross the room, I fell for him. If he'd asked me to marry him I would've done just like that. And he was a baddie, he was living with somebody else and had a chlid with them".


My first heartbreak
"Him. That one. He just didn't call...I was dreadful for a longtime after that, but I threw myself into my work and that's when I started to see stuff happening".


My first drunken shame
"I went to a party with nine boys and they plied with a mixture of Gin & Vodka. I was quite young, but I know nothing happened. We were all upstairs in the bedroom, but I did stay concious but only just. No nothing happened, but I'm sure I was kissed. Quite innoncently".


My first drunken shame 
"I tried-what were they called?-it was a mixture of opium and hash. Were they called Thai Sticks or something? And I tried poppers and I tried blues, which are uppers. With the mixture of hash and opium, that made me feel sick, I thought I was having a heart attack. The blues I love, but poppers made me feel a bit iffy, because I've always been worried about my heart".

 
My first porno movie
"I can remember seeing a pornographic magazine and I can still remember the feeling. I'm not gay at all, but I found it very sexy. I do a lot ot touring so you can imagine on the buses, the band have always got them on, but to tell the truth, I've actually found quite a lot of pornographic movies quite funny".


My first inkling: I was famous
"I never have felt that. I've always felt when people have asked for my autograph, they'd got it wrong:'Do you really want it?'"


My first celebrity tantrum
"I don't think I've actually had one. I've given sharp words when someone hasn't done something they probably should have done, which would've been about how genuinely upset I felt. I'm not a tantrum thrower, I'm a bit too reserved for that. I have really good working relationships with people, all very honest".

 
My first time
"What, f***ing? I think I was 16. It was a boyfriend, who was older than I was. I trusted that it would be OK, and it was, he gave a good time. I was glad it was that one".
